Our Annual Gala is Boys & Girls Clubs of the Suncoast's largest fundraiser. We transported our attendees to a beautiful indoor garden landscape where Great Futures begin! We encouraged everyone to wear their most stunning floral attire for this black-tie affair and get ready for an evening in bloom that will include live and silent auctions, entertainment, a special celebrity guest speaker, and more!

 

Through corporate and individual sponsorships, a silent and live auction, a diamond bracelet raffle, and from the give from the heart program, our team generated over $500,000 from our fundraising efforts. I was the lead on gathering in-kind donations for the silent auction, and that portion alone produced about $27,500. The Live Auction made about $20,000 total, including an All-Access VIP Pass from the Pinellas County Sheriff's Office, an Oregon Wine Tasting 3 night weekend trip, a Tampa Bay Rays Suite Experience for 16 plus a Randy Arozarena autographed baseball, and 5 night stay at a VIP 4 Diamond Resort in the British Virgin Islands.​​

Our long-standing board member, Jeff Tanzer, who is the Vice President of Ticket Sales and Service of the Tampa Bay Rays, wrote a kindhearted testimonial after the gala. He wrote, "Congratulations on executing a fantastic gala experience!  From the extra-spacious cocktail hour through the give from the heart, this was a first-class event.  You had a capacity crowd, did a great job utilizing our Youth of the Year, provided an outstanding keynote speaker, and compiled a wide array of auction packages – and the result was you not only raised a lot of money but also enabled the Boys & Girls Clubs of the Suncoast to make a powerful impression on those in attendance (and those who will hear about the event in the days and months that follow).
